Hand Drumming

Cost: $50 or $15/class
No drumming experience is needed. The class will teach easy-to-learn West African and Middle East rhythms and original creative drum techniques such as soft meditative drum styles on the djembe drum. Just come ready to learn, laugh, and play. Drums will be provided, or you may bring your own drum.
Jeff Ellis is a versatile musician who performs with and writes music and lyrics for his band Stirfry Musette. Jeff has taught drumming for 6 years at FYS.
