“Attention all men! If you have never done yoga I would urge you to give it a try. Here is my story:
“I started my yoga practice about three and a half years ago. At that time I was having severe shoulder pain from tears in my rotator cuff. Doctors wanted to do surgery to repair the damage. As a golfer my game had been affected by the pain and limited flexibility. This problem coupled with the typical aches and pains from years of abuse had made any athletic endeavor difficult.
“Over the last few years I have noticed men come and go in yoga classes. I believe that our competitive nature makes it difficult to watch as the ladies show superior flexibility. The results can be incredible. I no longer have shoulder or back pain, and at age 61 I regularly shoot in the low 70′s and sometimes in the 60′s. My balance and flexibility are better now than they were when I was in my 20′s. As a side benefit, the breathing techniques learned in yoga have stopped my snoring.
“So ladies please show this to your husbands. It is never to late to improve the quality of his life. (and yours if the snoring keeps you up).”
